How to Operate Your Trading Terminal

How do I log in to Platform 5 or TradeHub?

Last updated: September 6, 2026

All trading on Verodus is simulated.

Use your Verodus dashboard login. The terminals do not have a separate broker sign-in.

  1. Sign in to the Trader Dashboard with your Verodus email and password, or Google.
  2. Open the account you want to trade.
  3. Click Platform5 or TradeHub. The terminal opens on that account.

On your phone, open Mobile App in the dashboard (Get the apps). Install Dashboard, TradeHub, and Platform 5, then add each to your Home Screen.

If you cannot sign in, reset your dashboard password or email support@verodus.com.

When should I use Platform 5 vs TradeHub?

Last updated: September 6, 2026

Both are Verodus terminals on the same account. Platform 5 is the industry-standard powerhouse for advanced orders and analysis: desktop, web, and mobile, depth of market, Expert Advisors, and professional charting.

TradeHub is the modern terminal: TradingView charts, one-click execution, and a code-free AI Assistant.

Switch from the dashboard with Platform5 or TradeHub. The same simulated account is used.

How do I find a symbol and open a chart?

Last updated: September 6, 2026

Open Quotes or your market watch list, add the symbol if it is not already listed, then open its chart.

Platform 5 uses native charts. TradeHub uses TradingView-powered charts.

How do I place a market order or a pending order?

Last updated: September 6, 2026

Open the order ticket from Trade or from the chart.

  • A market order fills at the current quote.
  • A limit waits for a better price.
  • A stop waits for price to reach a trigger, then sends.
  • A stop-limit waits for the trigger, then places a limit.

Exact labels can vary by terminal. Choose the type in the ticket before you send.

Does a buy use the ask and a sell use the bid?

Last updated: September 6, 2026

Yes. A buy uses the ask. A sell uses the bid. The gap between them is the spread.

See Key Trading Terms for bid, ask, and spread.

How do I set a stop loss or take profit?

Last updated: September 6, 2026

Set stop loss and take profit in the order ticket when you place the trade, or attach them to an open position afterward.

A stop loss limits a loss. A take profit closes at a target. Fills can slip in fast markets.

How do I close or modify a position?

Last updated: September 6, 2026

Open positions shows what is live. Close a position from that list or from the chart.

Modify to change stop loss, take profit, or a working pending order. Confirm the account in the terminal before you send.

What is one-click trading?

Last updated: September 6, 2026

Both Platform 5 and TradeHub support one-click trading. When it is on, a click sends the order immediately. Confirm size and side before you click.

Can I use the same account on mobile and desktop?

Last updated: September 6, 2026

Yes. The same Verodus account works on desktop, web, and mobile. On desktop, click Platform5 or TradeHub from the dashboard. On your phone, install the apps from Mobile App (Get the apps) and open them from your Home Screen.

Mobile typically uses Quotes, Chart, Trade, History, and Settings.

You stay signed in with your Verodus dashboard login. You do not enter a separate server or Demo mode on the phone.

What is the difference between open positions and history?

Last updated: September 6, 2026

Open positions are live trades and working pending orders. History is closed trades and filled or cancelled orders.

Use History to review what already finished. Use open positions to manage what is still working.
