Executing a trade = opening OR closing (including pending orders, stop-loss, or take-profit). If your Stop Gain / Take Profit triggers during the restricted window on a targeted instrument, it is considered a Soft Breach. Profits from such trades are not eligible for performance fees. Losses remain your responsibility.

Treat the entire duration of speeches and conferences as restricted for 1-Step, 2-Step Lite, and 2-Step Pro accounts. Do not open or close trades starting 2 minutes before they begin, during the event, and for 2 minutes after they end.
Trading during news events involves rapid market fluctuations, increased volatility, and potential execution risks. The requested execution price for Stop Loss, Take Profit, and other Pending Orders may not be honored during these periods due to slippage. Traders should always exercise caution and ensure a full understanding of the risks involved in news trading.

Use any major economic calendar. What matters is whether the event is classified as high-impact on at least one reputable source.
